JACKSON, Miss. – March 21, 2022 – Waggoner Engineering, Inc., a full-service economic development, planning, program management, and engineering firm, welcomes Lesley Davis as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective March 15, 2022. As a member of the company’s executive leadership team, Davis will be based in Waggoner’s New Orleans office.
Davis will oversee the firm’s entire marketing operations, from sales, brand positioning, and communications to Waggoner’s overall revenue growth strategies.

They speak very highly of Lesley, and it became obvious why as the rest of us came to know her. Lesley has direct experience in our business and understands all that Waggoner’s Marketing team plans to be. Her leadership as Chief Marketing Officer will significantly contribute to our company.”
Davis has over a decade of experience in marketing, including brand strategy and oversight, public relations, crisis messaging, crisis monitoring and reporting, proposals, website updates, SEO, social media updates, graphic design, and other marketing materials for a vast array of projects. This isn’t her first stint in the industry – she worked as a proposal lead for CDM Smith earlier in her career, responsible for all proposals within a four-state region for over five years.

Davis joins Waggoner from Deveney Communication, a boutique, research-driven marketing agency specializing in crisis, hospitality, healthcare, and higher education. As an integrated account executive, she led various marketing efforts for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to locally-owned, small businesses.
Previously, she was the marketing director for Vinson Guard Service, the first in its 56-year history, and marketing coordinator for Landis Construction Co.
Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Mississippi University for Women and is the current sustaining advisor to the Junior League of New Orleans membership council.
