BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Waggoner Engineering is pleased to announce that John Wancowicz, EI has been promoted.

Wancowicz joined Waggoner in 2020 and works primarily on water, wastewater, and environmental projects.

During his tenure at Waggoner, Wancowicz has designed mobile asset collection systems for several clients using Esri ArcGIS products. As a result, clients have benefitted from real-time data collection during the inspection of water, wastewater, and stormwater assets.

Wancowicz has worked closely with water and wastewater utility clients to solve complex operations challenges and ensure sustainable futures. Additionally, he works with Waggoner’s watershed group, modeling solutions to drainage-related issues.

Wancowicz earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rhodes College and a Master of Engineering in Biosystems Engineering from Auburn University. He recently passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
