
BATON ROUGE, La. – Gregory P. Sepeda, PE, Vice President and Chief Engineer of Sigma Consulting Group (a Waggoner company), received the Outstanding Civil Engineer award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) – Baton Rouge Branch.
Sepeda has over 30 years of engineering experience. He joined Sigma in 1997 and was promoted to Vice President and Chief Engineer in 2006.
He has managed and provided technical expertise for countless roadway, bridge, drainage, structural, and civil projects across Louisiana.
“I’m honored to receive this award from this organization that promotes technical and professional excellence. Anything I’ve accomplished is because I am blessed to be part of a great team,” Sepeda said.
ASCE was founded in 1852 and is America’s oldest engineering society. The Baton Rouge Branch was established in 1962 and is part of the Louisiana Section of the organization.
Sepeda is also a member of the Louisiana Engineering Society, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana, and the Society of American Military Engineers.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida, Sepeda holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University.
