BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Waggoner Engineering, a full-service economic development, planning, program management, and engineering firm, proudly announces that Scott Promer, PE has joined the firm as Area Manager – Central Alabama. He will work out of the Birmingham office.
As Area Manager, he will foster market growth and drive project success across Central Alabama through his oversight and mentorship of project managers.
Promer has worked in various roles in Birmingham’s engineering and consulting sectors for over 20 years. He has served diverse markets and delivered large, complex projects with values over $900 million.
He has a proven record of successfully enhancing the growth and value of business units, bolstered by his expertise in region and territory development, client relationship management, risk identification and end-to-end program and project management.

Promer has earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds bachelor’s degrees in both mechanical engineering and biomedical science from Auburn University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama.
