
BATON ROUGE, La. – Waggoner Engineering is pleased to announce that Alex Farr, PE has been promoted to Transportation Program Manager in the Baton Rouge office.
He has 13 years of experience in transportation engineering design and project management.
As Transportation Program Manager, Farr will continue to oversee and manage teams and tasks for active transportation projects and programs. He will also provide business development for transportation pursuits and support project opportunity capture strategies.
Farr currently serves as a Program Project Manager for the MOVEBR Infrastructure Enhancement and Traffic Mitigation Program in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. He manages consultant project delivery, technical reviews, schedules and bidding support. He will begin taking on a larger program management leadership role on the MOVEBR Program and other Waggoner programmatic efforts.
He also provides project management for an expansive Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development contract that covers 16 state projects and includes 29 bridge replacements throughout south Louisiana.

Farr earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Louisiana State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana.
