JACKSON, Miss. – Waggoner Engineering, a civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, proudly announces the promotion of Clinton Russell to GIS Specialist/Analyst II.

With nearly 20 years of his career dedicated to Waggoner, Russell possesses extensive expertise in GIS mapping, database administration, utility mapping, quality assurance processes and advanced geospatial techniques. In his new role, he will continue to lead and contribute to complex geospatial projects.

Russell’s journey with Waggoner began in 1998 when he joined the firm as a technician, building a strong foundation in GIS and mapping. After three years, he departed to broaden his experience with other leading civil engineering firms and state agencies. In 2008, he returned to Waggoner as a GIS Analyst and has been a vital part of the team ever since.

“Clinton consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership and technical expertise,” stated Tracey Milton, GISP, Director of GIS and Asset Management. “His promotion is a testament to his long-standing dedication and countless contributions to Waggoner’s innovative solutions.”

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Jackson State University and several certifications from Esri Academy.
