BATON ROUGE, La. – Waggoner Engineering, a civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, has announced the appointment of Johnnie Knobloch as the firm’s Human Resources Director.
Knobloch will oversee human resources for more than 300 employees at Waggoner and its wholly owned subsidiary, Atakapa Services.
She joined Manchac Consulting Group (now Waggoner) and Atakapa Services in 2017, where she managed all aspects of human resources, marketing and office administration for six years. Following Waggoner’s acquisition of Manchac and Atakapa in late 2023, she was fundamental to integrating employees into the Waggoner family, coordinating with cross-functional teams across office locations to achieve positive outcomes.
Since the merger, Knobloch has led human resources for several of our Louisiana offices. After a comprehensive search that included multiple candidates, she was chosen as the Human Resources Director for all of Waggoner and Atakapa.
“We are thrilled to have promoted from within to fill this role,” said Matthew T. Butler, President and CEO. “Johnnie’s contributions have demonstrated her expertise, teamwork and dedication to supporting our employees. She truly embodies our people-first focus.”
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications and public relations from Louisiana State University, with a minor in business administration.
