JACKSON, Miss. – Waggoner Engineering, a civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, is pleased to announce the promotion of Holli Gill, GISP to GIS Analyst II.
In 2019, Gill joined Waggoner as a GIS Analyst, bringing her four years of experience as a team lead at the Delta State University’s (DSU) Geospatial Lab. During her time at DSU, she gained hands-on GIS experience through a rigorous work-study program.
At Waggoner, Gill has contributed to several projects, providing hydrography, geodetic control, inundation mapping and cadastral data. She has been integral in developing a statewide framework data layer for the Mississippi Digital Earth Model (MDEM), working with cadastral polygons and attributing data for each Mississippi county.
“Holli consistently delivers work that contributes to project success and highlights her geospatial expertise,” stated Tracey Milton, GISP, Director of GIS and Asset Management. “Her active engagement within the field makes Holli a valued employee, teammate and member of the larger GIS community.”
Gill recently earned her Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification from the GIS Certification Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geospatial analysis and intelligence from DSU.
