BATON ROUGE, La. – Waggoner Engineering, a civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, is delighted to announce the promotion of Kerryanne Suire to Engineer Intern I.
Suire joined the company in 2021 and primarily supports Atakapa Services, LLC (Atakapa), a wholly owned subsidiary of Waggoner that specializes in evaluating, maintaining and designing rehabilitation methods for sanitary sewer and storm drain infrastructure.
She plays a vital role in managing and interpreting data generated by Atakapa, including CCTV footage, GIS database files and structure inspections. She uses this data to generate rehabilitation recommendations for sanitary sewers and storm drains. Additionally, she transforms raw operations and maintenance (O&M) data into visually engaging, user-friendly dashboards using specialized software.
“Kerryanne’s drive and attention to detail make her a true asset to our team,” said Hayden Case, PE, Operations Manager at Atakapa. “Her ability to contribute at such a high level, even while completing her civil engineering degree, speaks volumes about her future. We’re proud to celebrate her and this well-earned promotion.”
Suire recently graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. She is also certified by the Louisiana Department of Health as a Water Operator (Water Treatment I, Distribution I and Production I).
She has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and is currently applying for certification as an Engineer Intern in Louisiana.
