ATLANTA, Ga. – Waggoner Engineering, a civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, is pleased to welcome Chris Serjak to the firm as a Senior Program Manager.

Serjak brings over 25 years of global experience in project and financial management, with deep expertise in stakeholder engagement and team leadership.

His career includes more than two decades managing complex infrastructure projects across Africa and the Middle East. Notable accomplishments include mobilizing over $124 million for sustainable infrastructure initiatives in South Africa; leading a $120 million development program with 100-plus staff in Afghanistan; and overseeing a $500 million water and sanitation infrastructure portfolio in Iraq.

“Chris brings a proven ability to manage large-scale projects while driving meaningful growth,” said David Burton, PMP, Vice President. “We’re confident in his leadership as we expand our Atlanta market, balancing technical execution with public trust.”

Serjak earned a master’s degree in sustainable development from SOAS University of London, a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Stanford University and a postgraduate certificate in construction management.

He is a Project Management Professional (PMP)® and a Certified PPP Professional (CP3P).
