At the 2025 Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC)Jeff presented a state-of-the-knowledge review of produced water management in the Permian Basin, prompted by growing regulatory limits on traditional disposal methods. His presentation, “Beneficial Reuse of Permian Basin Produced Water,” outlined key drivers, regulatory context, and the technical challenges of treating high-salinity water for potential surface discharge or industrial applications.

Pandiyan Kesavan, PMP – GIS Analyst/Developer

Pandiyan presented “Smart Stormwater Utility Assessment” at the Mississippi Geospatial Conference, hosted by the Mississippi Association for Spatial Technologies (MAST). His session focused on how GIS, Model Builder, spatial analytics, and automation can be applied to integrate complex datasets and support more transparent, equitable, and sustainable stormwater planning. Harnessing high-resolution imagery and machine learning, Waggoner’s innovative solution accurately measures impervious surfaces at the parcel level, delivering fairer fees, smarter revenue insights, and cutting-edge support for municipalities and planners.

Alex Bohannon, PE, CFM, CAPM – Project Engineer

Alex presented “Scaling the Future of Drone Services” to aviation students at the Hinds Community College John Bell Williams Airport campus (KJVW). The session introduced key concepts on the importance of obtaining a Part 107 certification and adopting UAS drone operations to support various industries, including construction, agriculture, energy, and other real-world applications. He also explained how drone operations support aerial documentation, surveying, and infrastructure monitoring across a range of real-world projects at Waggoner through a collection of aerial photography/videography content.

Murtada Mousa, PE, MS, PMP, CFM – Engineering Manager 
New Orleans, LA | November 6, 2025

Murtada led a Lunch & Learn session with the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works, presenting “The Drainage Web of New Orleans: From Rainfall to Outfalls.” The session facilitated a collaborative discussion around the city’s drainage challenges, emphasizing practical and resilient approaches, as well as the value of partnership in addressing complex infrastructure systems.
