HERNANDO, Miss. – November 21, 2022 – Today, the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors (DCBOS) celebrated the completion of the $37 million Holly Springs Road project. Waggoner is thankful to be part of this critical project as the Engineer of Record.
This much-needed roadway route, constructed through the Coldwater River bottom, has been plagued with flooding for decades and presented unique engineering and funding challenges. These challenges were addressed through a partnership between federal, state, and local resources, including FHWA (BUILD Grant), MDOT (ERBR Grant), OSARC (STP Funding), and DCBOS.
The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors had the vision and resolve to complete this long-term priority for the benefit of their constituents.
