
BATON ROUGE, La. – Waggoner Engineering, a full-service economic development, planning, program management, and engineering firm, and its wholly owned subsidiary Atakapa Services, LLC, a professional engineering pipeline cleaning and CCTV inspection company, welcome Mark Hatley as Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager.
This role will ensure compliance with all EHS regulations, promote a safety culture and implement strategies to reduce risks and improve overall safety performance.
Hatley joins Waggoner/Atakapa with 29 years of diverse experience in the water treatment industry, with a focus on EHS management, field service and biomedical technology.
As a Regional EHS Manager at Suez/Veolia Water Technologies, he was responsible for the health and safety of over 300 employees in a multi-state region. He was accountable for field technician training, issue reporting and audit findings.

Hatley is certified in Apollo Root Cause Analysis, an approach that involves problem definition, cause-effect analysis, solution generation and action implementation.
