BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Waggoner Engineering, a premier civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, announces that Christi Robinson, PE will lead the Huntsville region as Principal Engineer.
With over 25 years of experience in the Huntsville area, Robinson has successfully piloted critical projects while driving business development with a strategic, hands-on approach to client management.
In her new role, Robinson will provide the vision, leadership and operational oversight necessary to further Waggoner’s growth within the Huntsville market. She will guide the development, implementation and coordination of projects, plans and programs designed to enhance community infrastructure in the region.
Previously, Robinson served as a senior project manager at a leading Alabama engineering firm, where she established a dedicated utility infrastructure department focused on water and wastewater engineering services for a diverse range of clients, including private, institutional, industrial and municipal sectors.

In addition to her industry accomplishments, Robinson taught engineering part-time at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for over 15 years and was cited for excellence in her approach to capstone course instruction.
Robinson holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Mississippi State University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in systems engineering from the University of South Alabama. She is a registered Professional Engineer in both Alabama and Mississippi.
