
BATON ROUGE, La. – Waggoner Engineering, a civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, has promoted Alex Farr, PE to Senior Transportation Engineering Manager.
In this new leadership role, he will serve as a technical expert, mentor and senior project manager. Already integral to Waggoner’s transportation program, Farr will lead high-profile infrastructure projects across Louisiana, support the growth of junior staff, and collaborate closely with clients to ensure quality, efficiency and impact at every stage.
Farr joined Waggoner in 2014 as a roadway design engineer and has steadily advanced through roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as Transportation Program Manager, overseeing teams and managing tasks across a range of active infrastructure projects and programs in Louisiana.
“Over the past decade, Alex has made meaningful contributions that have strengthened our transportation projects across the region,” said Robbie Lear, Jr., PE, LSI, Vice President/Senior Project Manager. “His work ethic and technical expertise have already benefited our teams and clients, and that impact will only grow in his new role.”
Farr is a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana and earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Louisiana State University.
