BATON ROUGE, La. – Miles Williams, PE, Senior Vice President at Waggoner Engineering, has been named to the Louisiana State University (LSU) College of Engineering Hall of Distinction, one of the institution’s most prestigious honors, recognizing individuals whose careers have made a lasting impact on the engineering profession. He was formally inducted on April 16, 2026.
Since its founding in 1979, fewer than 100 individuals have received this distinction, placing Williams among an elite group of leaders who have shaped the future of engineering through innovation, service, and leadership.
A graduate of LSU and adjunct faculty member, Williams is recognized not only for his enduring connection to the university but also for decades of leadership that have advanced the profession across Louisiana and the engineering industry. His career reflects a deep commitment to mentoring future engineers, strengthening communities, and delivering solutions that matter.
