Waggoner manages water and wastewater utilities for the City of Bossier City Public Utilities Department (PUD) under an ongoing public-private partnership agreement initiated in 2016. Their PUD is responsible for treating and delivering an average of 12 MGD in potable water to approximately 80,000 customers and collecting and treating an average of roughly 9 MGD of wastewater. The utility system includes over $200M in water and wastewater treatment assets, 430 miles of water distribution mains, 330 miles of sewer collection lines, and over 130 lift stations.
Under the partnership, Waggoner manages $30M annually in operating and capital expenses for the PUD. Waggoner’s staff of nine full-time, highly skilled, experienced professionals oversee the work of 55 City employees.
