Waggoner was contracted by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development to develop preliminary and final engineering plans for the full reconstruction of LA 73. The project scope includes complete pavement and base removal and replacement, curbs and gutters, and sidewalks from Airline Highway to the I-12 on-ramp near Drusilla Lane. Additionally, it involves concrete pavement patching and repair of damaged curbs and sidewalks from the I-12 on-ramp to Essen Lane.

This plan development consists of all engineering services including a summary of estimated quantities and cost estimates for the approximate 2.3-mile roadway. Waggoner completed the final construction plans with emphasis on the suggested sequence of construction to minimize impacts to the motoring public on the major arterial.
