BATON ROUGE, La. – Waggoner Engineering, a leading civil engineering and professional consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Johnnie Knobloch to Vice President of Human Resources and Chief People Officer.
In this expanded executive role, Knobloch will serve as the senior strategic Human Resources (HR) leader for Waggoner and its wholly owned subsidiary, Atakapa Services. She will guide the firm’s comprehensive people strategy, supporting a growing, multi-office organization committed to operational excellence, team development, and long-term sustainable growth.
Previously serving as Human Resources Director, Knobloch brings us nearly a decade of progressive HR leadership experience, with deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and workforce integration. Since joining the firm in 2017, she has consistently demonstrated strategic insight, sound judgement, and a people-centered leadership approach that has strengthened the firm’s culture and aligned its talent strategy with business priorities.
