
BATON ROUGE, La. – Waggoner Engineering, a civil engineering and professional consulting firm dedicated to helping communities reach their full potential, is happy to announce that Charles Wayne has been promoted to Senior Construction Manager.
In this expanded role, Wayne will take on greater oversight of transportation and sewer construction projects in the Baton Rouge area, and in addition, provide mentorship to other construction management staff.
Since joining the firm in 2014, Wayne has managed construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and contract terms while managing schedules and negotiating necessary changes. He has played a key role as Waggoner’s construction manager for the East Baton Rouge Sanitary Sewer Overflow Program in partnership with the prime consultant. This $1.6 billion EPA-mandated consent decree program includes 115 related projects aimed at improving sewer infrastructure.

Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Southern University A&M College.
