DeSoto County Broadband Connectivity Program

As DeSoto County’s technical lead, Waggoner developed a desired network architecture specific to each proposed service region and facilitated a proposal request to ISPs to provide broadband access to over 3,500 residents in rural DeSoto County. Waggoner provided active and passive network design details, fiber routing plans, and a Preliminary Bill of Materials for reference as ISPs submitted responses to DeSoto County’s proposal request.
Throughout proposal evaluations, and contract service negotiations with ISPs, Waggoner offered insight into industry practices to create a custom broadband solution to provide high-speed fiber optic broadband access for DeSoto County residents.
