Broadband & Network
Mississippi

Broadband and the “internet of things” (IoT) rapidly progressed during the pandemic and are now becoming an essential utility. Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, $65 billion has been appropriated for the expansion of affordable, high-speed internet across the country. Waggoner has assisted the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration with ensuring Internet Service Providers (ISPs) remain in compliance with grant funding eligibility by structuring a submission portal to receive all project specifics related to vetting environmental reviews, construction milestones, and GIS data. This approach offers a life-cycle project management solution that adheres to state and federal compliance regulations regarding funding eligibility.
