JACKSON, Miss. – The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors (DCBOS) and Waggoner Engineering were awarded the 2024 Engineering Excellence Grand Award for the Holly Springs Road project at the American Council of Engineering Companies Mississippi (ACEC-MS) Engineering Excellence Awards ceremony held April 4 in Jackson, Mississippi.

The construction of the 2.6-mile segment of Holly Springs Road, completed in December 2022, was one of the most extensive local road developments in the history of DeSoto County, Mississippi. Waggoner served as the primary consultant for the implementation of the final project and assisted with the planning, survey, roadway design, funding support and construction phase services.
